Over the past weekend, our Fortnite squad participated in two 2v2 events: the Duo Series #1 and the Duo Gun Show!

Gamers.com.mt Duo Series #1

This one-day 2v2 cup follows upon last week's Beta tournament, and is now a weekly event, occuring every Friday. The online tournament is organised by Gamers.com.mt, and the first iteration of the event was held on the 6th of July, and featured 28 Maltese duo teams. The event features a €50 prizepot, with €35 going to the winners.

We had two teams participating this time round, with the first one featuring James "fireduck" Ducker and Charlot "cataniia" Catania, and the second squad featuring Matthew "Pullu" Pulis and Nicholas "Dagostin0" Dagostino.

Quickfire Duo Gun Show!

Quickfire also organised its own duo competition the following day, on the 7th of July, however this time the event was held live, at the Quickfire eSports Centre in St. Julian's. 16 teams joined the event, which meant a prizepot of €60. The event was attended by Dean "Fragcoid" Ciantar and Matthew "Pullu" Pulis.
